The idea behind the build.
Most productivity apps fail because they add digital overhead rather than delivering genuine perspective. Can a radically simple, emotionally resonant interaction create a daily mindfulness habit without complex feature bloat?
What I brought to it.
Creator & Full-Stack Builder. Designed the concept, implemented the countdown calculation engine, built the scheduled notification trigger, and crafted the typography-driven interface.
The system
A lightweight web MVP where a user enters their name and expected lifespan. The app calculates remaining days, schedules a daily 7:00 AM push notification, and presents a curated, uplifting quote about living meaningfully today.
The interesting challenge
Tone and emotional balance. Making mortality inspiring rather than morbid—striking the exact balance between urgency and gratitude through restrained typography and warm microcopy.
